Glass Tears Exchange & Refund Policy

At Glass Tears, we take pride in the quality of every garment we produce. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.

Due to the limited nature of our releases, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. Exchanges are only accepted for sizing issues (subject to stock availability) or where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns for exchange or store credit within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
  • All tags and original packaging are intact.
  • The item shows no signs of wear, damage, stains, odors, or alteration.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Please note that any orders using a discount code are only eligible for store credit for the amount paid or an exchange.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

If you have ordered the wrong size or simply changed your mind, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery for:

  • An exchange (subject to stock availability), or
  • Store credit equal to the purchase price of the item.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the fault

Once assessed, we will provide a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Please note we cannot refund duties, taxes or shipping charges.

If you claimed a free gift with your order and return your purchase for a refund, the free gift must also be returned. If you return your item/s for store credit or an exchange then you are more than welcome to keep the free gift. 

Sale & Limited Release Items

Due to the limited nature of our drops, sale items, promotional items, and limited-release products may not be eligible for exchange once sold out.

Please refer to individual product listings for any specific conditions.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Worn or washed garments
  • Items without tags
  • Items damaged after delivery through misuse or improper care (including but not limited to incorrect washing practices)
  • Gift cards

Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved exchanges and store credits are typically processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where goods fail to meet consumer guarantees.
